Abhijit is a well-recognized leader with 28 years of senior level experience in the corporate including board level positions with of two global investment banks (Indian subsidiaries) and also an honorary board level position with a leading co-operative bank. He is currently director of Giltedge Financial. His last full time employment was with Credit Suisse First Boston (India) Securities as Director & Head – Finance, Administration & Operations, and prior to that, he was with UBS Warburg, Investment Banking Division of UBS AG as Director & Chief Operating Office. Other employers include ANZ Grindlays, Magnificent Leasing & Investments, and Johnson & Johnson.

He has an excellent academic background with CA, CWA, CS and CFA followed by a PHD from IIT Bombay.

Abhijit’s client engagements cover areas in strategic finance such as financial modeling, feasibility studies, design of decision analysis framework, due diligence exercises for M&A, functional expertise in information technology solutions for inventory, accounts payable, M&A integration & business support, risk analysis, internal audit/management review assignments, comprehensive risk management framework, etc. It is noteworthy to mention Abhijit’s involvement in risk assessment of deals in government securities carried out by ANZ Grindlays Bank in the context of the Securities scam in 1992.

Abhijit has a passion for executive education and has been contributing in development of e-learning programs too. He made a substantial contribution to the book titled ”Financial Risk Management” published by Dun & Bradstreet and Tata McGraw-Hill under ‘Finance Essentials Series’ (2007).
